"There is no time in modern agriculture for a farmer to write a poem or compose a song"

Masanobu Fukuoka

A warm thank you to "Spithari waking life"

The video shown below is taken from Spithari Walking Life (In the region of Marathon, East suburbs of Athens) in a place that was burned in 2009.

In 2011 I went there to be a part of a team of independent activists -Spithari Walking Life- for the regeneration and investigation of  any possible alternatives in order to apply-in a nearly desertified area-  and communicate freely, possible sustainable solutions towards energy, shelter and food resiliency.

For a long time I was feeling as if I was dichotomised: An Engineer and theater practitioner, two sides that did not comply with each other. It was in the nature of Spithari Waking life project to reveal and unite all skills through imagination and creativity.

Through  this project these two sides within me were united and this helped me express what is alive with in me; through transdisciplinarity I felt free by realizing that science and art are not separate but have common roots and fertile ground to grow together.
